Never Put Off Until Tomorrow Whst You Can Do Today

We have been told that mever put lff untill tomorrow what you can do today since childhood. However, there are still many people who like putting offthc things thcv should do today until tomorrow. They have no plans for their work and their time. As a result, they will not accomplish their goals in the end.

For cxample, one Sunday I felt so tired after having a football match that I did not finish my homework even at night. I thought I could get up earlier to go to school the next morning so that I could finish my homework before class. But the next morning I was not able to get to school in time because of the traffic jam. I was punished by the teacher.

It taught me a lesson. From then on I made a determination that I would niver put off anything important until the next day. Please remember: Work today, for you don't know how much you may be hindered tomorrow. Seize the present day and trust the tomorrow as little as possible.

A Sunset

The sunset is very beautiful and lovely.

Its scene is as wonderful as a sunrise but it is even more beautiful to watch it in the country than in the city.

When the sun begins to set behind the mountains, its long rays light up the green fields. The clouds in the sky also begin to glow with a golden light, and the mountains are really colourful.

When the sun begins to set behind the mountain, it looks like a red ball. Its light fills the sky and changes the colour of the clouds from gold to red.

When the sun is gone altogether behind the mountain, the clouds turn grey and the mountains become black.

Then you cannot help admiring the wonder of nature.

A Sad Story

Last Monday when I stepped into my classroom,my monitor told us that our class teacher, Mr Sun, had passed away in a traffic accident. It seemed so unbelievable because he used to give us lessons on Monday morning. I couldn't accept the fact until the headmaster came to tell us the truth.

Mr Sun was a middle-aged teacher. He was full of sense of humour. We all liked him very much because of his excellent teaching. His lessons were usually very lively and all liked to attend his class. He was an experienced teacher.

Mr Sun will always live in our hearts!

How to Learn English Well

English is one of the most important subjects in middle school.

Almost everyone knows that we should learn English well, but few of us know how to learn it well. Karl Marx has set a good example for us. He once said, "When one is learning a foreign language, he must use the foreign language." In this way, he could use several languages. A saying goes, "Practice makes perfect." When we learn English, we should read more, speak more, listen to English from time to time and practise writing every day. Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Only in this way can we learn it well.

Reading Is a Good Hobby

With development of science and technology,new knowledge comes every day. If you stop learning even for a day,you will be lost. Reading is a good way to help you keep in touch with the outside world.

Read widely and you'll be rich in knowledge. Reading is also a good way to relax yourself.

You can get a lot of fun in the books. A good book is a good friend to comfort you when you are unhappy. So long as you have a good book at hand, you'll never feel lonely. Every valuable book will open a new world before you.

The Way to Keep Healthy

It's important for us to be healthy all our can't study or work well without healthy body.

There're many ways to keep healthy. First of all, we should keep taking exercises every day. We can walk to school instead of taking a bus. After school, we can spend an hour playing ball games.

If we live in a high-rise,we can walk upstairs or downstairs. Second, we should have a balanced diet. Finally, we must remember: "Early to bed, early to rise is the way to keep healthy, wealthy and wise."
