Frank has just got off the train in the wants to call one of his friends to pick him up at looks for a while and at last finds a telephone when he gets there, he sees a lady already e are no other public telephones nearby,so he wait. He waits and lady on the phone is just talking seems as if she doesn't notice Frank. After about half an hour,the lady puts down the k feels a bit released. She is finished finally,he thinks. But to his surprise,the lady picks it up again,fishes a coin from her pocket and pushes it into the slot."Oh, no!"Frank says to himself."She is making another call."

弗兰克刚下傍晚的火车。他想打电话给他的一个朋友让朋友马上去接他。他看了一会儿，最后找到一个电话亭。但当他到了那里，他看到一个女士已经在那里打电话了。没有其他的公用电话在旁边，所以他就在那里等。他等了又等。那女士的'一直在打电话聊啊笑啊。她似乎没有注意到弗兰克。大约半小时后，这位女士放下听筒。弗兰克感觉松了一口气。他认为她终于打完了电话。但是令他吃惊的是，这位女士拿起话筒，从她的口袋里掏出一个硬币，把它放入槽内。“哦，不！”弗兰克说。”她正在打另一个电话。”
